About

Hi, and welcome to Steady Strum. My name is Josh, and I've been blogging about guitars for over 20 years at Guitar Lifestyle

Steady Strum is my creative outlet for guitar designs. Basically, I created Steady Strum to make the products I wish existed.

Wear the practice.

That's the whole idea, really. Not the highlight reel; the actual practice. The unglamorous hours that make the good parts possible. Every design here starts from something specific to the instrument: a headstock, a signal chain, a pickup switch, the quiet math of string tension.

If you've read Guitar Lifestyle, you already know the voice. Steady Strum is the same sensibility, just wearable. Over 20 years of thinking about tone, technique, and gear, distilled into shirts I'd actually wear myself.

Everything's printed on demand, one order at a time, no warehouse of unsold inventory sitting around. It also means every design started as something I genuinely wanted to make.

If you've got a design idea, a question about sizing, or just want to talk gear, sales@steadystrum.com — I read everything, even if I'm slow to reply sometimes.
