1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Steady Strum (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will note the updated date at the top of this page.
2. Description of Service

The Service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future; any such changes will be communicated in advance.

5. YouTube API Services
The practice looper feature uses the YouTube IFrame API to embed and play YouTube videos. By using this feature, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge Google's Privacy Policy.
Steady Strum does not host, store, or re-transmit YouTube video content. All video playback occurs directly through YouTube's official player. You are responsible for ensuring your use of YouTube videos via this feature complies with YouTube's terms and any applicable copyright law.

The Steady Strum name, logo, and all original content in the Service (including music theory card content, UI design, and software) are owned by Steady Strum and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial guitar practice. This license does not permit redistribution or commercial use of any Service content.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Spaced repetition schedules are generated algorithmically and are not a substitute for structured musical instruction.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEADY STRUM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
